I remember once Jens Lehmann, who used to be the goalkeeper of the German national team started a huge complaint because he couldn't play well with his...haha adidas boots that he had to play with. but anyway...if you give a regular player adidas boots, he won't be zidane, no matter if they are predator XIVV or whatever, that's for sure. :P well I can imagine the boots do play a role.
